Terms of service

These are the rules for using 1Elevate. They’re short on purpose. If something here seems unfair or unclear, tell us through Feedback and we’ll fix the wording or the behaviour.

Using 1Elevate

You need an account to practise, and you need to give a real email address so you can get back in. Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you, so if you think someone else has got in, change your password and tell us.

One account per person. Don’t share a login, and don’t try to get at other students’ data, break the service, or scrape it automatically. None of that is hypothetical politeness: your progress records are personal, and the whole product is built on them staying that way.

The questions

The bank contains learning material prepared, imported or generated for SAT practice. Rights remain with the relevant rights holders. You can practise with questions, quote one when you ask for help, and take screenshots for your own study. You can’t republish the bank, sell it, or feed it into another product.

Some questions are drafted with AI. Current editorial tools separate drafts, review and publication; historical records do not establish complete authorship or review provenance for every item. AI labels reflect recorded provenance. If a question is wrong, the report button on it goes to the people building this, and that’s the fastest way to get it fixed.

What you write

Posts, comments and feedback stay yours. By posting them you let us show them inside 1Elevate, which is the only thing we do with them. Keep it civil and keep it about the work. We can remove anything that’s abusive, off-topic or shared in bad faith, and we can close an account that keeps doing it.

What it costs

1Elevate is free right now. No card, no trial clock running down. If that ever changes, you’ll be told before it does, and nothing you’ve already done will be taken away from you or held behind a payment.

What we don't promise

1Elevate isn’t affiliated with the College Board or endorsed by them. The SAT is their trademark. Practice materials and estimates are not official SAT exam papers or official scores.

Practising here doesn’t guarantee a score. The estimates, projections and university ranges on the site are context drawn from published data, never a prediction of what you’ll get or where you’ll be admitted. Admissions decisions belong to universities, and their published figures change between cycles. Check anything that matters against the university’s own admissions pages, which every profile links to.

The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will never be down, never be wrong, or never lose a session to a browser doing something unexpected. It’s also young, and it changes weekly.

Ending it

You can delete your account and its history yourself, at any time, from Account. It asks for confirmation and it can’t be undone. Before you do, Settings has an export button that gives you a bounded study-data file. The export lists included categories and limits; it does not include every account record.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we do that to you and you think we’ve got it wrong, reply through Account access and support for the available contact path.

Changes

These terms will change as the product does. When they change in a way that affects what you can do or what you pay, we’ll say so here and date it, rather than editing the page quietly. What we hold about you and who sees it is covered separately in the privacy and cookies policy.
